Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor between 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she began working in the reelection campaign of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 and was the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House,[21] but, on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
